Buffalo Bayou

The most iconic park in all of Houston, Buffalo Bayou park west was completely revitalized by the Buffalo Bayou partnership between 2012 and 2015. Now they are beginning a new section on the east side of the city. We built handrailing, art features, and the decorative pylons and bridge railing that is shown in many feature pictures of Houston

Brays Bayou

The Brays Bayou Flood Damage Reduction Project, today known as Project Brays, is a cooperative effort between the Harris County Flood Control District, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers designed to reduce the risk of future flooding. Project Brays consists of more than 75 individual projects throughout Brays Bayou. Part of the project consists of widening the Bayou channel. Approximately 21 miles of the channel have been modified to increase the amount of stormwater the bayou can carry.

Christine Allen Nature Park

Fabricated structural and decorative architectural steel for the restroom building, bridge abutments and other features for Christine Allen Nature Park

Artavia

We fabricated many items for this amenity center including a bean shaped pavilion building, a large custom designed playground feature, custom planter bench boxes, and cable railing.

Falcon Park – Bridgeland

We fabricated the framework for the park building A contemporary park building with open air frame work and canopies

Cross Creek Ranch Development

Cross Creek ranch is located in Fulshear, TX just west of 99 on the Wespark tollway. Galvanized steel is used as an architectural element more than most places including the different neighborhood monument markers, park shade structures and other amenities. We built almost all of the monument signs for this neighborhood as well as several large parks and many smaller ones.

Harpers Preserve

Club Palmetto is the main amenity center for the Harper’s Preserve Community.

Houston Zoo

We did a lot of work at the Houston Zoo for Zoo directly from 2012 – 2018 or so when they started using general contractors to do larger projects instead of managing them in house. We still do something for them occasionally. It was an interesting environment that required a lot of coordination between the construction department, the Zoo rangers and the actual Zoo keepers.

Jordan Ranch

Design and build of a faux water tower used a sign/ neighborhood entrance for the Jordan Ranch Community. This feature allowed their logo and name to be seen from I-10 without looking like a billboard

The Woodlands Hills

Located in the first park to open in the Woodlands Hills community, this pavilion provides a 360-degree view of the park. We assisted Landology with the design as well as the fabrication.

Bridgeland

Bridgeland is a community off 290 and 99 that Howard Hughes bought and started developing as the Woodlands was winding down. We’ve done many jobs there over the years. These are just a few of them

Bayou Greenway

This park was a celebration of the Bayou Greenways project and a “Thank You!” to the donors that contributed so much toward its completion. The project includes a magnificent Donor Plaza with the names of the major contributors listed.

Grand Central Park

Pine Island

Pine Island is an exclusive Pedestrian oriented neighborhood in the Woodforest Development by Johnson Development. We fabricated the entry vehicular, pedestrian gates and guardhouse as well as Carousel park which has a high end decorative mail building.

Rick Rice Park

We fabricated 13 aluminum sculptural letters and an overlook pavilion for Rick Rice Park in Katy, TX

Wendtwoods Park

The Woodlands commissioned Land-ol-ogy and JEF Fabrication to design and create a decorative sculptural piece for the final village scale park to be situated in Creekside Village, Wendtwood Park.

15th St Flats

Architectural nook lighted elements and gateway entrances for a condominium building in the Houston Heights area. These items added a decorative touch to a high end urban residence project in Houston. The nook elements featured LED lighting and the pedestrian gates featured electric RFID chip readers to grant access to residents. All of the these items were powercoated for beauty and durability.

Decks and Patio Railing

Artistic railing, and fencing pieces for outdoor landscape features. We’ve made railings and for various clients around the Houston area. These railings were powdercoated before installation for longevity.

Fagan Residence

Large high end custom home with themed ironwork including balcony railings raised patio framework and railing and decorative niche pieces. All of these art pieces were modeled CAD and fit to templates matching the site conditions. All of these items were powder coated for durability and bolted together for installation

Equipment for Underground Tunneling Industry

We’ve been fabricating equipment for underground tunneling companies for 30 years including jacking stations, trailing cans, pipe carts and other parts. We can assist with the design of these components and can offer a quick turn around to help keep the project moving along. We can also assist with hydraulic design for special machinery.

Concrete Molding Equipment

We have been making various concrete molding equipment for dry cast and wet concrete products including box culverts, SETs, manhole risers, and junction boxes for over 30 years

Custom Trucks and Trailers

J. E. F. Fabrication has been working alongside local businesses for over thirty years to outfit custom trucks and trailers to help make their businesses more productive. Some of the many industries served include plumbing and irrigation companies with truck racks and fitting baskets, dry cleaning companies with clothes racks for vans and outfitting foam insulation rigs for the foam insulation industry
